The First Annual Designing Women’s Wearable Art Show is one month away on December 8, 2012.
Four of us ((L to R)Jerry White, Jane Bradley, Patti Farley, Mary Ellen Merrigan) collaborated to produce this event in early December.
- Jerry White (pictured left) is a self-proclaimed bling aficionado, and she promises dozens of Swarovski elements in her creations.
- Jane Bradley, (center) mentored me in my bead career and has designed award-winning jewelry for years. Her painted cards will also be available at the show.
- Patti Farley (right) continues to raise the bar with new creations. Last July I wrote a blog post about her boot scoots and Pugg’s®.
- My collection (that’s me in front) includes beadweaving necklaces as well as my “Arm Party” bracelets.
Together, we present dozens of different ideas in our wearable art.
You’ll find pearls, charm necklaces, simple adornments, trade beads, unusual focals, beadweavings and more at this event.
When this kind of creativity gets going, there’s no telling what emerges. For example, here’s a fun shot we captured during a planning afternoon.
