Sharing my Bead Art

This weekend I share my love of bead art in two ways.

On Saturday, I join members of Amapola Gallery in the kickoff celebration of the Gallery’s 35th anniversary.

The Gallery is open 10am to 5pm.  I’ll be there the entire afternoon.

Read about the list of events and a description of the many parts of Amapola Gallery’s 35th Anniversary Celebration on its blog. I discussed my snake knot macrame demo in an earlier post about the bezels I made for our 35th event.

Better yet, plan to stop by the festivities. With 40 local artists, many of whom will be at the event, it promises to be a wild and crazy time.

“The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.” – Aristotle

On Sunday, I’m teaching a bead embroidered cuff class at Elinor’s Art and Beads. Call 505-884-8511 for class availability.

I hope to see you over the weekend and together we’ll celebrate all bead art.
