Thank you to everyone who attended the Sandia Heights Artists Studio Tour and admired my bead jewelry last weekend. We saw dozens of friends, neighbors, and attendees during the event.

These friends came to see my bead jewelry and the display for Mary Ellen Beads Albuquerque during the Sandia Heights Artists Studio Tour.

It was a pleasure to join Lynda Burch, an accomplished acrylic painter at her home studio.

Bead Jewelry by Mary Ellen Beads Albuquerque was on display in the studio of Lynda Burch.

Our third artist, Cindy Chavez, an extraordinary embellishing aficionado added even more interest.

My favorite part of the event was seeing customers old and new, helping them try on my adornments and watching smiles grow as women realized they loved it.

These three fun bead jewelry items (and more) now have new homes.

These three bead jewelry pieces are the work of Mary Ellen Beads.

Irene O. won my prize, The Princess Pendant, an ice resin bezel collage.

The princess pendant was a prize given by bead jewelry specialist Mary Ellen Beads Albuquerque during the Sandia Heights Artists Studio Tour.

It’s great fun to do a studio tour but a great relief to be done. Once again, thank you to everyone who participated.

As always, if you need a gift or have special requests, feel free to request a studio appointment . Or, see my bead jewelry work (as well as the works of Lynda Burch and 38 other artists) on display daily at Amapola Gallery, 205 Romero St NW, on historic Old Town Plaza Albuquerque.
